Sept 24 & 25, Saturdays and Sundays from Oct 2 to 30: Fall time means pumpkins, hayrides, corn maze, sunflowers and fall weather! Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day in the country. This 12.5-acre, 600,000-stalk corn maze opens every day at 9:00am with the last entry at 4:00pm. With two levels of difficulty spend as little or as much time as you want exploring the pathways of the maze. Purchase tickets for a hayride that will take you on ride through the farm to the pumpkin patch where you will find the biggest selection of pumpkins growing on the vine in Arizona! You will find rows and rows of beautiful, orange pumpkins, from mini pumpkins to extra-large. Visit the sunflower field with flowers taller than you!
Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze

Sept 26 to Oct 31: Get lost in our giant corn maze, find the perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch, enjoy farm-inspired rides, games, activities, and farm-to-table food. Plus, starting September 30th each Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Columbus Day, guests will enjoy an extensive list of shows (magic show, circus show, trick riding motocross, and more), entertainment, Grain Train rides, Barrel Train rides, hayrides, and vendors. And when the sun sets, you will enjoy all the activities at the farm plus fire dancers, karaoke, barn dances, and navigating through the corn maze in the dark, and entertainment! Please note that on weekdays (Monday – Thursday), hayrides, grain train rides, outside vendors, shows, and entertainment will not be offered. You will enjoy farm-inspired rides, games, activities, corn maze, pumpkin patch, animal encounter, and more.

Sept 24 to Oct 31: Load up the family, bring your friends and neighbors to Mother Nature’s Farm, rated Arizona’s best in the New Times. $12.00 per person. Everyone gets an Oz pumpkin, take a hayride, enjoy the spider crawl, feeding the animals and Alexander’s Adventure Maze. Bring your own picnic lunch or purchase snacks.

Fall Festival & Cooler Days in the Corn Maze

Sept 30 to 30: Vertuccio Farms is a great event for all ages this fall. From the Mini Hay Maze to the tube slides, mini golf, barrel train ride, giant spider web, duck races, pumpkin bowling, extreme air pillow and of course the pumpkin patch and iconic 5-acre corn maze – this is the perfect family-friendly festival to celebrate the season! New this year is the Super Mega Slide.

Scarizona Scaregrounds, Oct 1 to 31: This annual event is a favorite among Valley thrill seekers. Scarizona features two haunted attractions and is recommended for those ages 12 and up. New this year, Scarizona is also featuring a Halloween-themed Drive Thru light show, Frights in the Lights, a separate mile long drive through event intended for families with young children and kids of all ages. Prices for the haunted house events start at $24.95 per person. Prices for the drive through light show starting at $24.95 per car. Hours vary and can be found online.
Pumpkin Patch at the Ranch

Oct 1 to 30 (Closed Tuesdays): Head to the ranch for some good old-fashioned fall fun in the desert. Pan for some gold, find your way through the hay bale maze, enjoy the petting zoo, lawn games, photo areas and more.
Admission is $13 per person. Children under 23 months are free. Additional cost per person: pony rides $5, train $5, mechanical bull $5, feeding the petting zoo animals $3. Pumpkin can be purchased as well. Gates open from 9am to 5pm.

Haunted House Workshop and Public Fright Nights, Oct 3 to 30: Join the Musical Theatre of Anthem for our annual haunted house! Performers will work for the month of October on developing, decorating, and designing a haunted house experience! McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

Oct 7 to 31: Stop in for a spell as the Paradise & Pacific Railroad is transformed into a haunted park of fun. The family-friendly event is perfect for kids of all ages. Creep it real with the event’s feature, a spooky train ride created with younger children in mind… a bit spooky, but not too frightening. The event will feature limited capacity of 650 people per one and a half hour time blocks at 6 p.m., and 8 p.m. nightly. The park will only be accessible to those who have purchased tickets during a specific time block. Visitors will have an opportunity to ride the train and carousel as many times as they’d like during their time block. Announcements will be made when your time is up, and you will be asked to leave the event area.

Creepy Candy Crawl, Oct 15: The Boo Crew at Desert Ridge Marketplace welcomes all goblins and ghouls to the spookiest party of the season. Trick-or-treat throughout The District and enjoy live entertainment, costume contests, prizes and more. Show off your Halloween best and take home a trophy in our annual costume contest! Entry into contests is available on a first come, first-serve basis.

Oct 22: Take a dip in a floating pumpkin patch. Admission includes one pumpkin per person, pumpkin decorating, and 90 minutes of swim time in Mesa’s heated pool. There will be a max of 150 participants per time frame with time for staff to clean and sanitize between event times. $7 per entry/pumpkin and must be purchased online. 11am to 12:30pm and 1pm to 2:30pm.
SPECIAL NOTES: Tickets are non-refundable and must be purchased online. Mesa Cares donations accepted for those who do not wish to keep their pumpkin. No ticket will be mailed, you will check-in by name at the event. Call 480-644-PLAY (7529).

Día de los Muertos Festival, Oct 22 & 23: Mesa Arts Center is pleased to celebrate Día de los Muertos with an annual event created in collaboration with the community. Día de los Muertos is a celebration of Latin American art and culture related to the Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead. The annual free event offers a variety of features, performances and more in celebration of the memories of the deceased.

Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival, Oct 28 & 29: This fun and safe trick-o-treating event has something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Check out 20+ glowing hot air balloons, costume contest, trick or treating at every balloon, kids’ zone, live music, vendors and more. 5pm to 9:30pm.
Online tickets start at $17 for kids and $22 for adults, but prices will go up as the event gets closer. Children 2 and under are free.

Ghosts and ghouls are invited to trick-or-treat through the Museum, monster mash on the dance floor, create a Spooky Tree in the Art Studio, take part in the fashion fright show, and explore three floors of imaginative exhibits! Costumes are optional but strongly encouraged! Please no costume masks that fully cover your face or prop weapons.
