Nov 15 to Dec 31: World of Illumination, the producer of the world’s largest drive-through animated light show, presents two theme parks in the Phoenix-metro area for the 2023 holiday season. Light and sound collide to spark your holiday spirit with over 2 million animated lights that are synchronized to a holiday musical experience. Nov 17 to Jan 6: Transforming into The North Pole’s sister city, Christmas at the Princess is where moments become memories.

Ride the Princess Express Train through the resort’s majestic lagoons to enjoy more than six million dazzling lights. Stop by the exclusive Santa Tree for a free photoshoot with Santa or step into the Grinch’s Lair to meet the not so mean green guy himself.

Arizona’s Largest Christmas Tree in Anthem

Nov 18:  Anthem Outlets will kick off the holiday season with the 22nd Annual Tree Lighting Concert! This year’s tree measures 70-feet tall and 20-feet wide and will be topped with a three-foot tall copper star, which is a nod to the state’s official metal. More than 1.5 miles of LED lights, approximately 10,000 bulbs, will illuminate the tree and roughly 5,000 ornaments and bows will finish off the breathtaking spectacle. Although New York City and his family unveil some harsh realities, Buddy’s heartfelt determination proves to everyone the real meaning of Christmas.

Nov 22 to Dec 30: As families and friends travel through the drive-thru light show with synchronized festive tunes, they’re greeted by over one million glowing lights in different shapes: candy canes, snowmen, presents, and more. This is a great way to experience the magic of the holidays no matter what you celebrate.

Nov 24-26, Nov 30-Dec 3, Dec 7-10, Dec 14-24: Christmas has come to Schnepf Farms! Experience a winter wonderland like no other with seasonal food, fun and festivities for the whole family. Catch a ride on the World of Illumination Express, hop on a hayride to visit Rudolph, skate on ice, or journey through Santa’s magic workshop. There will also be a Christmas carousel, cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus, snow globe mini golf, a beer and wine garden for the elves over 21 years of age, bonfires smores, and the world’s largest inflatable Christmas-themed obstacle course.

Featuring an immersive walk-thru light maze created from over 4 million sparkling lights, Enchant also includes an impressive 100-foot-tall holiday tree, a unique ice-skating trail, live entertainment, Santa visits and a village marketplace with crafts, gifts, festive culinary treats and holiday cocktails.

  • Santa at the Market, Nov 25, Dec 2, 9, 16: Scottsdale’s beloved farmers market gets into the holiday spirit with a very special guest — Santa! Santa will visit the market to spread some holiday cheer. Children can sit with Santa and receive a printed photo to cherish for years! 8am-1pm. Many market vendors offer special items throughout the season so shoppers can check off their holiday lists while they pick up delicious local produce, artisans breads and other delicious items.

There are over 3 million led lights and displays that are synchronized to your favorite Christmas songs. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the show as you begin a new Christmas tradition.

Lights at the farm also features a 4,000 sq. ft. outdoor skating surface made of “NHL grade” synthetic ice, tickets sold separately from regular admission to the farm. This skating rink allows attendees to experience a winter activity at the farm under the desert starry nights without the snow and ice! Come on out and get your skates on!

Dec 1 to 23: A very special Friend-and-Relation tells Christopher Robin a story of a Christmas Eve very long ago (about last year) when Eeyore, the old gray donkey who lives by himself in the thistle corner of Hundred-Acre Wood, was absolutely miserable. It seems that he lost his tail and Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet got all their friends, and a search was organized. There is a great deal of fun and excitement, plus delightful songs, in the adventure that follows. The show’s theme, which concerns caring, sharing and the importance of cultivating friends, makes this a very special and enchanting musical suitable for any age.

Dec 2 & 3: A unique holiday event that combines a glimpse into a working dairy farm with festive and fun activities, Shamrock Farms transforms its large Welcome Center Barn into a winter wonderland with holiday crafts, face painting and more! Of course, no holiday celebration would be complete without a special visit from Santa and Shamrock Farms’ own jolly spokescow – Roxie!

The holiday cheer continues with festive décor added to the cow-spotted tram as visitors take our fun and educational guided Farm Tour where they can get up close and personal with 10,000 cows and learn about how our pure and fresh milk gets from the farm to table! Other tour highlights include a visit to our milking barn that accommodates 1,600 cows (milking 200 at a time) plus a visit to our interactive play zone.

Reservations and pre-payment are required.  Tickets are $15 for adults and children and include all activities. Children under 2 are free. Lunch will be available for an additional cost.

  • Happy Noon Year, Dec 31: Ring in the New Year at the Museum during our Happy Noon Year Celebration! Sip sparkling cider, move, and groove on the dance floor, create a colorful noisemaker, and countdown to our festive balloon drop! Dec 2: For more than three decades, the APS Electric Light Parade has been an event where families, neighborhood groups and businesses from across the city come together to celebrate the joy of the holiday season. 

The “It’s Electric” themed parade starts at 7pm beginning at Central and Montebello Avenues and travel south on Central Avenue, then east on Camelback Road, then south on 7th Street ending at Indian School Road.

Dec 19: This new holiday event will feature live music by The Damn Kids, food trucks, holiday gifts for purchase made by local crafters, and a North Pole Pass.

The North Pole Pass is $10 per person, both adults and children must purchase a pass to be able to participate (children under two are free). The pass will include a digital picture with Santa, a train ride on Daisy Mountain Railroad and a holiday craft!

3 to 9pm. Purchasing passes online is encouraged but they will also be available the day of the event. Check out all the event details on the website listed above.
