Annual Navajo Rug and American Indian Art Auction
November 7, 2015 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
The auction is a wonderful opportunity to see numerous styles of Navajo rugs and a variety of types of American Indian art. Those attending will learn about collecting Navajo rugs and American Indian art during an informal chat with experienced traders Bruce Burnham and Hank Blair. Preview begins at 9am, followed by the auction from noon to 5pm. The auction is a one day fundraising event with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary, a support group for the Pueblo Grande Museum which supplements the museums’ preservation efforts, educational programs, special events, exhibits, and artifact collections care. Enjoy fry bread and other native foods available for sale throughout the day. The auction is free and open to the public. The Museum will be open 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. with standard museum admission rates for visitors, and free for current Museum Auxiliary Members.
