Homeschool Week at SEALIFE:

Homeschool students will be introduced to the micro cosmos by observing and learning about plankton. Students will learn the difference between phytoplankton and zooplankton, their behaviors and traits and finally the importance of these tiny creatures to our planet. During the class, an instructor will guide the students with hands on observations of living plankton by using compound/light microscopes that can be found on site. After the program is completed students will go home with an understanding of how smaller creatures are essential to the food webs of the planet, and how they can affect the well-being of larger marine animals, and even humans. Lesson is 30 minutes. Reservations Required.
