Virtual Summertime Storytelling
June 26, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Pueblo Grande Museum’s FREE Virtual Summertime Storytelling Series is back! Join children’s authors as they share their books virtually on Pueblo Grande Museum’s YouTube channel every Saturday starting June 5 through July 3. www.youtube.com/channel/UC3IzGAKtuf6QCso2Fw13wUA
Each week features a different book and craft to go along with it. This year’s storytelling series begins with two fun and creative favorites from last season – Debi Novotny’ s What Do You Do When the Couch Eats Your Shoe and Dianne White’s Green on Green. The three remaining weeks feature heartwarming stories highlighting Native American traditions by Violet Duncan – Let’s Hoop Dance, When We Dance, and I am Native.
Fun craft kits celebrating each story can be purchased for $5 each online via Activenet (https://apm.activecommunities.com/phoenix/Home) beginning May 10. Kit orders will be available for curbside pickup Monday – Saturday, 9 am – 4 pm, beginning the week prior to the scheduled date of the virtual storytelling. Access to all storytelling videos ends August 31.
