SUMMARY:World’s Largest Arabian Horse Show Returns
DESCRIPTION:THE GREATEST HORSE SHOW ON EARTH! \nThe Arabian Horse Association of Arizona is excited to announce the return of the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show on Feb. 12-22\, which features the world’s best Arabians\, exciting competitions\, a shopping expo and more. During the event\, nearly 2\,000 horses will compete for over $1 million in prize money. Event goers can look forward to a huge variety of classes where Arabians will show their versatility\, beauty\, and grace. Best of all\, children 17 and under receive free admission to the historic show. \nAn immersive experience gives attendees a hands-on opportunity to learn\, touch\, ride\, dress up and take pictures with Arabians hosted by AHAA’s Amateur Committee. The interactive experience\, included in the event ticket\, introduces newcomers to the world of horses and all the benefits they offer. \nAlong with the engaging performances\, event attendees will have the opportunity to see exhibits featuring fine arts\, crafts\, clothing\, and jewelry in the Shopping Expo next to the main arena. More than 250 artisans and entrepreneurs are expected to sell unique goods and offer a wide variety of products and services. \nThe 71st annual event will also introduce the new West Coast Sport Horse Championships to provide elevated recognition to the ever-growing Sport Horse division. Additionally\, the event will celebrate the fifth annual National Arabian Horse Day on Feb. 19 with special events and activities at the show. \nThe 11-day show will start at 8am each day at WestWorld located at 16601 N. Pima Road in Scottsdale. \nGeneral admission tickets cost $15\, tickets for seniors are $10\, while children aged 17 and under are free. Military Appreciation Day is Tuesday\, Feb. 17\, when military personnel and their families can attend for free. A family night will be held on Friday\, Feb. 20\, giving families free admission beginning at 4:30 p.m. A special general admission ticket good for all 11 days can be purchased for $75. \nTickets are available each day at the gate or through scottsdaleshow.com/tickets.
