We are an independent nonprofit organization chartered by the Boy Scouts of America to deliver youth programs throughout most of central and northern Arizona. In Scouting you’ll develop new skills, try new hobbies, make friends, learn teamwork, experience the outdoors, and serve your community—all while having fun and discovering more about the world.

2022 Summer Camps:

Adventure Day Camp

Heard Scout Pueblo, 1901 E Dobbins Rd. Phoenix

This drop-off day camp is designed for youth to come and enjoy a themed week of activities and fun Monday through Friday during the summer months. Sign up for a week of activities happening at the Heard Scout Camp where our trained staff will provide fun, safe, and engaging programs for kids ages 6 – 10. Each week will offer different adventures to choose from including swimming, cooking, and STEM, among others. 


Camp Geronimo

2599 W. Webber Creek Rd., Payson

Join us for our second ever Drone camp where you will learn how to build a drone and how to utilize it in everyday life. Or, get in touch with your “wild side” in our Spade Ranch program where you’ll experience an outdoor adventure unlike any other, from exploring caves to rappelling down waterfalls, there is bound to be adventure for all! You can also get your feet wet with Fish Camp, where you will fish in Arizona’s beautiful creeks and streams, learn about the local ecology, and have a ton of “fin”!


Fish Camp

19887 E. AZ Hwy 260, Payson

Fish Camp is a high-end angling program offered in partnership with Trout Unlimited and the Grand Canyon Council, BSA. Participants will learn the ecology necessary to select proper fly or bait, understand where to cast, and master the art provoking fish to bite.  Fish Camp is for youth 13+ and includes meals and lodging, cool fishing swag, a tour of the Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery, and an AZ State Hunting and Fishing License.


R-C Scout Camp

19887 E. AZ Hwy 260, Payson

R-C Scout Camp is a resident camp (overnight) experience for families serving children ages 6 – 10 years old. Programs for this partner and pal experience may include horseback riding, arts and crafts, STEM activities, and field activities, among others. Youth have the chance to learn and develop character, citizenship, and personal fitness through awesome activities while spending uninterrupted quality time with their families.
