Paper Lei Making!

Make lei, give lei, wear lei! As we close out May, join us in celebrating by crafting your very own lei. We’ll be creating paper flower lei in the kui style, using beads, yarn, and card stock. Discover the cultural significance of lei in Hawaiʻi and learn the proper etiquette for making, giving, receiving, and returning your lei to the ʻĀina (land). This program is included with paid Museum admission, but space is limited. Register at admissions upon arrival; it’s first come, first served. 🌺
