STEM Saturday
October 19 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
FreeRetired local teacher Erik Gillman will lead participants in crafting their own wood art projects using computer numerical control. Kids will explore the intersection of art and technology by using a laser engraver. They can engrave any design they draw or import from the Internet onto wood. Participants will create their designs on a Chromebook with EASEL software, convert them into GCODE, and set up the engraver to start the process. The class is for ages 12 and up, with supplies provided. Make sure to register as space is limited.
