Art Therapy

Welcome back Michelle Simoneaux, MA, RN!
Happy to have Michelle return to share her insights on the therapeutic power of art. Her artistic journey began before age 12 with sketching, oil painting, and sculpting. While raising her children, she continued exploring creativity through crafting, cake decorating, and sewing. Later, Michelle pursued a nursing degree and became a registered nurse. Along the way, she discovered scientific research supporting the healing benefits of creative expression and began incorporating art as a therapeutic tool in her nursing practice. Come join for a presentation on the benefits of art therapy, accompanied by a display of artwork. Registration is required.
