Does your child dream of becoming a zoo veterinarian?

Give them the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a zoo vet at the Zoo’s Animal Health Center. They’ll explore behind-the-scenes areas, including surgery, treatment, and pharmacy rooms, and participate in hands-on activities that highlight how math and science are used to diagnose and treat animal ailments. Based on real-life zoo scenarios, this program will help them understand the vital role veterinarians play. After assisting their animal patients, they’ll earn a Dr. Zoo certificate! Parents, please drop off and pick up your child at the front of the Zoo.

This program is designed for children aged 8-12. Please ensure your child has reading, writing, and math skills at or above a 3rd-grade level to fully engage in the activities. Registration is required.
