Inaugural Showcase

The School of Ballet Arizona presents its Studio Company Showcase at Ballet Arizona’s Dorrance Theater, featuring vibrant choreography by Nicole Haskins, Gillmer Duran, and Durante Verzola. The Studio Company comprises 21 aspiring professional dancers, offering them exposure and opportunities to perform alongside Ballet Arizona’s main company. Haskins, a former professional dancer, brings her impressive choreographic experience to the showcase. Duran, a faculty member at Ballet Arizona, and Verzola, an award-winning choreographer, contribute their unique styles to the performance. Ballet Arizona’s artistic director, Ib Andersen, expresses excitement for the Studio Company’s potential and invites audiences to witness their artistry.
