We support “your child and the child within you” by providing interactive opportunities that engage your senses and encourage creativity. Explore three main exhibit areas and an outdoor atrium. i.d.e.a. Museum is built upon the solid, successful 35 year history of the AZMuseum for Youth, the original, fun, inspiring, and educational hands-on art museum for children and families in the United States.
2026 Summer Camps:
idea Museum is offering three unique summer camps to inspire creativity and imagination!
Emerging Artist Camp, for ages 6-8, is a fun-filled program where young artists will explore various art media. Children will experiment with drawing, painting, clay, printmaking, fiber arts, and more!
Maker Lab Camp is a hands-on experience for ages 8-10, designed for imaginative kids who love to create, design, and experiment! Blending art with technology, campers will use exciting tools (like chomp saws and laser cutters) while learning new creative techniques to build and bring their ideas to life.
Our Kinder Readiness Camp is a creative, fun, and engaging program designed to prepare children for the transition into kindergarten through arts-based learning and imaginative play. The camp focuses on building social, emotional, and academic skills in a playful, supportive environment. Activities are designed to promote early literacy, fine and gross motor skills, and cooperative play through the arts.
