The Metropolitan Youth Symphony (MYS), a Founding Resident Company of the Mesa Arts Center, provides exceptional ensemble experiences for instrumental students through 12th grade. Members audition to participate in one of six large ensembles thoughtfully aligned to their performance level in band, orchestra, and guitar. In addition to weekly rehearsals and concerts, MYS offers a vibrant recital series, a week-long summer music program, chamber music opportunities, and a Scholarship Solo Competition.
