A visit to the Phoenix Zoo opens a wondrous world of curiosity, imagination and discovery. For more than half a century, the Zoo and its animals have amazed guests from across Phoenix and around the globe. Whether you are on the lookout for awe-inspiring Asian elephants, on safari to spot the great Sumatran tiger or seeking towering giraffes roaming the Savanna — a day at the Zoo offers adventures like no other place in the Valley of the Sun.
With cafés, shops, lush gardens and exciting experiences like Stingray Bay*, Giraffe Encounter, Monkey Village, Safari Train and many more, your visit to the Zoo will be memorable for the entire family.

2024 Camp Zoo:
- Spring Camp Zoo: March 11-15: Join Camp Zoo as we explore the great outdoors! Your camper’s curiosity will guide them through animal encounters, games, learning activities, and crafts all centered on Nature Play! Class sizes limited. Camp Zoo is for students currently in 1st through 5thgrades.
- Summer Camp Zoo: June 3-July 26: Camp Zoo offers children a fascinating summer adventure and exploration of the natural world. Each age-appropriate, weeklong session is filled with animal encounters, activities, games, in-depth investigations and organized free-time. Class sizes limited. Camp Zoo is for students entering kindergarten through 6th grades in the fall of 2024.
