Valley Youth Theatre inspires young people to be the best they can be! Valley Youth Theater (VYT) is an award-winning professional youth theatre company. Alumni include such professional actors and singers as Emma Stone, Jordin Sparks, Chelsea Kane, Max Crumm, Nick Cartell and many others. VYT is a unique place where young people from diverse backgrounds can learn and grow as individuals, performers and creators through a wide variety of performing arts opportunities. Camps are offered in the spring and summer months and year-round classes are taught by professional arts instructors. VYT produces six MainStage productions per season, two of which are Center Stage at the Herberger Theater Center. All youth are always welcome to audition.
2021 Summer Camp Details:
Musical Theatre, four-week Summer Camps for ages 7-15! The magic of musical theatre comes to life during VYT’s four-week summer camps! Our campers experience what it takes to create a full musical production, from audition to performance, alongside professional teaching artists who provide foundational training in acting, singing and dance. Fun and interactive classes in these three disciplines will help build self-confidence and teach campers to work together as an ensemble to bring their musical performance to life. Family and friends will applaud their hard work on the final day of camp with a performance where all are welcome. Session 1: June 7 to July 2; Session 2: July 5-30. Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm, daily. Before and after hours available. Early bird pricing is $750 if registered before May 1st; $775 if registering after May 1st.
