Summer 2020 Update:
Join VYT for virtual musical theatre summer camps this June and July!
- Virtual All Stars Camp (Ages 5 to 8): This summer, get ready for a magical, virtual adventure! Each week we will take your child on a journey where we will explore the wildest jungle to the reaches of outer space through storytelling, song, crafts, creative drama, and MORE. Children can participate in one or multiple of our weekly camps, as they learn to communicate, work as a team, build their self-confidence, and fuel their passion for the performing arts. This class will culminate in a short (virtual) performance, created by the ensemble, for friends and family to enjoy. Space is limited to 7 students per weekly session, so secure your seat now. Seven weekly sessions will be offered Monday thru Friday from 10am to 11:30am. The cost is $175/week.
- Virtual Musical Theatre Summer Camp (Ages 9+): Want to take the MAGIC that is Valley Youth Theatre right into your home? This summer, VYT has adapted our traditional summer camp model to a virtual platform, in an effort to keep our students safe and healthy… while still offering our signature VYT fun! Students ages 9+ will have the opportunity to take daily, virtual dance, acting, and music classes with our professional teaching artists to hone and explore their crafts. An online social lunch each day will follow the morning classes, as a time for students to connect and communicate. When students register they will choose a focus (either music, dance, or acting) and the last portion of the day (following lunch) will be a rehearsal in their chosen discipline. Students will work in groups to create original work with their teaching artists in their area of focus, which will be showcased in front of family and friends (virtually) on the last day of camp! Spaces are limited, so secure yours today! We look forward to seeing your student for some MAGIC! *Please note a Zoom Meetings capable device is required. Session 1: June 15-26, Session 2: July 13-24. Monday thru Friday, 9am to 1:30pm. Each session cost $375.
