It follows Oliver, an orphan who escapes a workhouse and joins a group of child pickpockets led by the cunning Fagin. When Oliver is captured, Fagin enlists the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back, jeopardizing Oliver’s chance of finding a loving family.
