Dog owners are invited to the Pup-a-Palooza Spring Festival at Chaparral Park in Scottsdale. This dress-up event encourages pups to flaunt adorable spring costumes, while owners can coordinate outfits for a lively “pup parade” and costume contest starting at 11 a.m. Leashed dogs and owners will walk together for a chance to win prizes. Enjoy delicious food, drinks, shopping, a FREE pet photo booth, activities for children and pets, live music, and raffle prizes. Early bird tickets are $10 per person or four for $30; at-the-door tickets are $15 per person. The event is FREE for children 12 and under, and each ticket purchase includes a complimentary swag bag and one raffle ticket. Proceeds benefit Oakley’s Oath, a local nonprofit established by Julie Kessler of Scottsdale after the tragic drowning of their beloved dog, Oakley, due to a roofing contractor’s oversight with a plastic tarp over the pool during repairs.
