The premier natural history museum in Arizona. Explore the Southwest from the creation of the earth 4.5 billion years ago to the present. See the origins of life on earth, meteorites and minerals. In Dinosaur Hall, discover some of the biggest dinosaurs that ever lived, see how some appeared and sounded on Dinosaur Mountain. Then Walk through Time exploring ancient Arizona’s Paleozoic Seas, Triassic Petrified Forest, Cretaceous Seas, and the first animals to fly.

Summer Camp 2022:

  • Prehistoric Preschool -Children 4- 5 years, this fun filled dinosaur morning camp runs for 4 days over a 2-week period. Includes creative movement, crafts, and special interactive gallery activities. 

          June 13, 15, 20th and 22th. Fee for the 4-day series is $100 or $80 for members.

  • Dino Discovery – Children 6 – 10 years will learn about the extraordinary age of the dinosaurs! This program is designed for children to explore the science of paleontology, the history of the earth, dinosaurs and other remarkable creatures who lived here then too!  Each day includes specialty tours, experiments, fossils, games, crafts and snacks.  July 11th-15th, 8am-12pm. Fee for the 5-day session:  $140 or $115 for Members.
