The 2026 Girl Scout Cookie season returns from Jan. 18 through March 1, 2026, with more than 12,000 Girl Scouts in grades K–12 from over 90 communities across central and northern Arizona, including the Navajo Nation and Hopi Lands, putting their entrepreneurial and leadership abilities into action. The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world, with 100 percent of net proceeds staying local to directly benefit impactful, year-round opportunities for girls.
“Girl Scout Cookie season is the start of something special for girls, whether it sparks an interest in entrepreneurship or provides an opportunity to build self-confidence,” says Christina Spicer, co-CEO of Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC). “When the community engages with local girls during Girl Scout Cookie season, they are giving them the opportunity to lead, learn and serve while raising funds that stay local.”
The Girl Scout Cookie Program empowers girls to become leaders by developing five essential business skills: goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills and business ethics. By selling cookies, girls also learn the importance of giving back and making a positive impact in their communities.
This year, GSACPC is excited to welcome Exploremores™, the new, rocky road ice cream–inspired sandwich cookie featuring delicious flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored crème. Exploremores™ will join the lineup for the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Season along with delicious core cookie flavors Adventurefuls®, Thin Mints®, Samoas®, Tagalongs®, Do-si-dos®, Trefoils® and Lemon-Ups® for $6, as well as specialty cookie Toffee-tastic® for $7.
“The Girl Scout Cookie Program is more than a fundraiser – it’s a tradition that brings people together, year after year, and across neighborhoods and generations. People who buy Girl Scout Cookies stand with us in supporting girls – believing in their futures and creating opportunities for them,” says Mary Mitchell, co-CEO of GSACPC.
“Proceeds from cookie season directly support Girl Scouts’ immersive STEM learning, outdoor adventures, leadership programs, travel and more engaging adventures across central and northern Arizona.”
Over the years, proceeds from the cookie season have supported girl-led initiatives ranging from donations to animal shelters and food and clothing drives to environmental advocacy efforts and large-scale community service projects. These initiatives create visible and lasting improvements in girls’ local schools, neighborhoods and community organizations while addressing key community needs. Girl Scout Cookie Program net proceeds also improve accessibility and affordability of Girl Scouting by offering membership fees, uniforms and camperships for girls.
“Girls are full of bold ideas that lead to meaningful change, and we also give them the space to explore and bring those ideas to life through opportunities to build impactful girl-led and troop-led community service projects throughout our communities. This is powered by cookie proceeds and the hard work of local Girl Scouts,” adds Mitchell.
